Artist's Description

On November 14, 2016, people witnessed the moon rise from the port of Gaza on the eve of the "supermoon" spectacle. The brightest moon in nearly 69 years illuminated the sky during its closest approach to Earth, as the "Supermoon" reached its peak luminosity. Such proximity will not occur again until November 25, 2035.
